Today we competed in the New York State Martial Arts Championships, part of the NYtournaments.com League. We had 24 competitors from our school ranging from four years old to seventy! Everyone did great. The competition ran smoothly thanks to the organizers Grandmaster Rich Fescina, Allie Alberigo Shihan, and Shihan Michael Pinelli. This was an awesome event with four exciting divisions; Self Defense Demonstration, Weapons Demonstration, Form Demonstration, and Point Sparring. Across the board our players scored well with multiple trophies and medals. A good time was had by all. It was a great day on the mat!
